Meet the Candidates - Jan. Luncheon

  • Hilton 801 University Drive East College Station, TX, 77840 United States (map)

January RWBV Luncheon to feature Republican candidates for Brazos County District Clerk. In Brazos County, we have four contested primary races, Texas House Seat 14, District Clerk, Justice of the Peace Precincts One and Two. Locally there are thirty-seven candidates running for twenty-one posts. Our objective during the January and February meetings is to highlight candidates in the contested races.

Since Republican Club is devoting their January 4th meeting, which we encourage you to attend, to those Justice of the Peace races we will use January 10th to give time to candidates for District Clerk and February 14th State House Seat 14. Time allowing, which will be determined prior to meetings, we will offer time to uncontested candidates to make brief self-introductions.

Over the years, we have learned that the informal interaction between voters and candidates that takes place prior to, during, and after meetings is some of the most productive time.

Citizens and voters are encouraged to attend to learn about and compare candidates.

Candidates are encouraged to attend to meet voters and learn about their concerns.

All are encouraged to make reservations as typically during the election cycle we have a higher incidence of unreserved attendees, which can create hospitality challenges for both RWBV and Hilton staff.

Please join us on January 10 to meet your Republican candidates for local office!
