We are pleased to welcome our own Congressional District 17 representative Bill Flores to our October luncheon.  First elected in 2010, Bill is currently serving his third term. In this the 114th Congress, he was elected by his fellow conservative colleagues to serve as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), the largest caucus in the U.S. Congress and an influential group of House Republicans committed to economic opportunity, national security, fiscal responsibility, American values and limited government. Additionally, Bill serves on the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee.  During his first two terms in the 112th and 113th Congresses, he served on the House Budget, Veterans’ Affairs, and Natural Resources committees.

As Bill promised, he returns home to our district frequently when Congress is in session.  He is involved with constituents throughout Texas CD 17, visiting often, participating in community events as well as supporting conservative and Republican organizations. 

At our meeting, Bill will provide a Washington Update and has graciously agreed to field questions from the audience so come prepared!

October Luncheon Meeting Details: Wednesday, October 14th at the College Station Hilton. Check in begins at 11:15 and the buffet line opens at 11:30 with the meeting called to order at noon. Cost is sixteen dollars.
