Roy May is a member of the Corps of Cadets Delta Company made up of combat veterans, an industrial distribution major, and Junior Yell Leader. His 12 years in the Army included serving as a sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, rescue and recovery in the Pentagon following the attacks of 9/11, the honor of being Non Commissioned Officer in charge of the Honor Guard for President Reagan’s casket as he lay in state in the Capitol.  He also served with the 82nd Airborne Division as a squad leader in the 1st of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, where he deployed as a combat squad leader to Iraq in 2009.
